So, what exactly is a building's energy upgrade, and how is a building certified? It is well-known that buildings are typically significant energy consumers, with the majority of energy being used for heating and cooling. To conserve energy and reduce the annual costs associated with a property (whether a detached house or an apartment), a protective measure is needed to minimize potential energy losses. All individuals are eligible for energy savings, provided their residences meet the necessary construction requirements.
1. The initial steps for a building's energy upgrade are as follows: An engineer or energy inspector surveys the building to be upgraded to identify any potential energy losses.
2. The next step involves analyzing energy consumption.
3. Subsequently, we proceed to determine which energy interventions are feasible.
4. The following stage is the costing of these energy interventions, simultaneously calculating the optimal efficiency for the building's energy savings.
5. The 5th and final step is the implementation of the energy upgrade, along with its timeline.
